Viewing Live TV
Magic Link iEPG Magic Link models only
Once your Now TV and Cable TV set-top-boxes are connected to Magic TV™ (see Magic Link Connections) and Magic TV™ has detected them (see Getting Started and Now TV and Cable TV Setup) you will be able to browse, view and record Now TV and Cable TV channels in exactly the same way that you can with Digital Terrestrial Television channels.
Note: Not all Now TV and Cable TV channels show in the EPG. This is because there are over 200 channels which can slow browsing and take time to load. By default, Magic TV makes use of the ‘Favourite Channels’ feature to limit the number of channels which appear in the main EPGs and channel lists to around 100. Channels can be added and removed from this list in Settings ➜ Channel Setup ➜ Choose Favourite Channels or by typing in the number of the hidden channel directly whilst watching Live TV.
See Channel Setup for more information on ‘Favourite Channels’.
Note: Only one external input can be recorded or viewed at once. For example, with Magic Link, you can record either now TV or Cable TV, but not both simultaneously.
