Network HDD (Magic TV™ Share)

Use this feature to share your recordings with other Magic TV™ units around your home!

Simply connect all your Magic TV™ units to your home network (see Network Connection and Network Setup for connection instructions) and choose whether you want to share your recordings or view another unit’s recordings.
Note: MTV9500/MTV9600D and MTV9000/MTV9100D units need to be connected using a wired ethernet connection. If they are connected via Wi-Fi, Magic TV™ Share is disabled.

USB-connected Hard Disk Drives are also included in the share.

When viewing the Recorded Programmes list, shared network recordings on another unit are shown in brown text.

Settings:

Network HDD Server	On / Off *	Set this to ‘On’ if you would like the recordings on this Magic TV™ unit to be available across the network
Use Network HDD	On / Off *	Set this to ‘On’ if you would like to view recordings made by other networked Magic TV™ units

Note: Magic TV™ Share requires a wired ethernet connection for MTV9500/MTV9600D and MTV9000/MTV9100D units, and because of the high bitrate of some HD recordings, and fluctuations in a normal Wi-Fi network, a wired home network is recommended for all connected Magic TV™ units for best sharing results.
