Timeshift Setup

Instant Rewind

During Live TV Magic TV™ automatically starts recording in the background so that you can rewind at any point (see TimeShifting, Pausing Live TV and Instant Rewind for further information). You can turn this feature off here.

If ‘Auto’ is selected, Magic TV™ will only begin background recording of Live TV when the pause button is pressed.

Instant Rewind Period

1/2/3*/5/8/12/24 hours

This setting determines the length of time available for Instant Rewind during Live TV.

Note: Magic TV™ can only start recording from the point the current channel was selected (see TimeShifting, Pausing Live TV and Instant Rewind for further information).
